1. Scope
CoinBinder is provided by the CoinBinder team. This policy covers the current local collection version and this website. Core features require no account. This version does not offer developer-hosted collection storage, online coin identification, or in-app cloud sync.
2. Collection data on your device
Coin names, dates, countries, denominations, grades, purchase amounts, photos, notes, folders, tags, checklists, drafts, and recovery history are stored on your device to provide collection features. CoinBinder does not upload your collection to a developer server. Operating-system backups may include app data according to your device settings.
3. Camera, photos, and files
The app uses system permissions or pickers when you choose to take or select coin photographs. Selected images are saved with your local collection and are not used for online identification. File pickers handle import, export, and restore operations. You can manage permissions in system settings and continue entering records manually.
4. Exports and sharing
CSV provides a record list; it is not a complete backup with all photographs. Full backups include collection records and images. Exported files may include purchase amounts and private notes and are not password-encrypted by CoinBinder. Keep them somewhere you trust. If you choose a third-party destination through the system file picker or share sheet, that service handles the file under its own terms.
5. Retention, deletion, and recovery
You can view, correct, delete, and export your records in the app. Earlier data may remain in undo records, recovery history, full backups, exports, or device backups. Deleting a current record does not erase these copies. Use available recovery-history management controls and delete unwanted exports and device backups separately. We cannot remotely access or delete data held only on your device.
6. Website and support email
This website is hosted by Cloudflare, which may process IP addresses, request paths, and browser information to deliver pages and protect the service; see the Cloudflare Privacy Policy. This website includes no analytics scripts, advertising pixels, third-party fonts, or tracking cookies. The app includes no advertising or third-party analytics SDK. We do not sell collection data. Support email is handled through Microsoft Outlook; see the Microsoft Privacy Statement. Correspondence is used to handle your request and necessary follow-up, and retained only as needed for those purposes and applicable obligations. You may request deletion by email. Do not send passwords or unnecessary full backups.
7. Security and children
Protect your device, system account, and exported files. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. CoinBinder is a general-purpose collection tool, not specifically directed to children. A parent or guardian may contact us about personal information a child sent to support.
8. Contact and changes
For support or access, correction, or deletion requests about information you provided directly to us, contact the CoinBinder team at devinworks2026@outlook.com. Updates will appear here with a revised date; material changes will be communicated through the app or website.
